HAITI NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM
The Haiti national football team (French: Équipe d’Haïti de football) represents Haiti in men’s international football and is governed by the Fédération Haïtienne de Football (FHF). Haiti is a member of CONCACAF and FIFA, competing in both regional and global competitions.
Nicknamed Les Grenadiers, after the national symbol of the Haitian military, the team plays its home matches primarily at the Stade Sylvio Cator in Port-au-Prince. Haiti has a proud footballing history in the Caribbean, often ranking among the strongest teams in the region.
Haiti has qualified for the FIFA World Cup once, in 1974, and has had notable success in regional tournaments such as the CONCACAF Gold Cup and the Caribbean Cup, winning the latter multiple times. The team is known for its passionate supporters, technical skill, and physical style of play.
Haiti continues to focus on developing young talent through its youth national teams, with the goal of maintaining competitiveness in both regional and international competitions.
