NRG Stadium — renamed “Houston Stadium” during the tournament — will host seven matches: five group-stage games, one Round of 32 match, and one Round of 16 match. Games run from June 14 to July 4, 2026. The 72,000-seat stadium is receiving upgrades, including a natural-grass field and layout adjustments to meet FIFA standards. With its retractable roof and large fan-festival planned in Houston’s EaDo district, the city will be one of the major World Cup hubs in the U.S.
