Liam Alan Millar is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as an attacking midfielder or left winger for EFL Championship club Hull City and represents the Canada national team.

Millar speaks English and comes from a soccer-oriented family—his father, Alan, and grandfather, Malcolm, have both been involved in the sport. His father was born in Oakville, Ontario, and his mother, Jo-Ann, was born in Toronto. Although he was born in a Toronto hospital, his family lived in neighbouring Brampton. Millar grew up playing both soccer and basketball and began organized soccer at age four with Brampton Youth SC, later joining North Mississauga SC. At age 12, he moved overseas to England to join the Fulham Academy, beginning his professional development abroad.

Off the field, Millar enjoys video games and music. Growing up, his favourite players included Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Andrés Iniesta, Steven Gerrard, and Owen Hargreaves, while his favourite clubs were Manchester United and Liverpool FC. He also followed other sports, supporting teams like the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Internationally, Millar has represented Canada at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, helped Canada win the Concacaf Final Round of FIFA World Cup Qualifiers (2021–22), and played in the CONMEBOL Copa América USA 2024, where Canada finished fourth.

Millar is known for his pace, technical ability, and versatility in attack, able to contribute both as an advanced midfielder and as a wide forward, making him a valuable asset for club and country.
