Growing up, his favourite players and teams included Neymar Jr. and Chelsea FC, while his other sporting favourites included Kevin Durant, Patrick Kane, and the Baltimore Ravens.

At club level, Koné has played professionally in Canada, England, and France, gaining experience across multiple leagues before joining Sassuolo in Italy. He is recognized for his technical ability, vision, and attacking creativity from midfield, making him a key contributor for both club and country.
