Photography contest
Guidelines & Conditions:
- Applicants must be aged 14+
- Photos must be unique and original, and taken by the participant himself.
- All submissions will be judged based on professionality, creativity, and originality.
- Photo size 1024 pixels wide and file format (jpg, Png, etc.).
- Participants can upload up to 3 pictures, in the condition of submitting only 1 picture in each category.
The categories are:
- Lifestyle Photography
- Artistic Photography
- Digital Art photograph
- Participants should Upload the pictures named by their full name and the name of the category chosen, for example:
- JohnDoe-lifestyle
- JohnDoe -artistic
- JohnDoe -digitalart
- In the Lifestyle photography category, it is capturing the subject of living their life in their natural environment. These pictures show authenticity and lean towards a more candid feel, and it captures the real emotion of the situation. Participants are allowed to make a small correction on the picture of this category, such as color, balance, and cropping.
- The artistic photography category allows the photographer the most freedom, there are also no limits to the creative touches and ideas (in terms of art direction and editing), used to help the vision come to life. They are allowed to work on artful backdrops, costumes, and make-up as well as heavy post-processing to achieve the look of a fantasy.
- In the Digital Art category, the picture submitted should be based on a photo and still uses mostly the imagery of the photo. And since art knows no boundaries, the participant is offered endless creative possibilities (by rendering, manipulation, drawing. etc.…). What makes this category different from the artistic category, is that it is characterized by surrealism through the manipulation of the photo itself or by adding digital drawing…
- The black and white photos can come in all categories, depending on the other elements mentioned in each category.
