Kamal Anthony Miller is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a centre-back for Major League Soccer club Portland Timbers and represents the Canada national team.

Miller speaks English and grew up in a sports-oriented family. His father, Leighton, was born in Kingston, Jamaica, while his mother, Sauzette, was born in Toronto, Ontario. He participated in soccer and basketball from a young age and began playing organized soccer at age four with Scarborough Malvern SC. Off the field, Miller enjoys video games, paintball, and following various sports. Growing up, his favourite soccer player was Ronaldinho, and he supported FC Bayern München. Other athletic favourites included Russell Westbrook, Cam Newton, and the Toronto Raptors.

Internationally, Miller has represented Canada at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, helped Canada win the Concacaf Final Round of FIFA World Cup Qualifiers (2021–22), earned a Concacaf Silver Medal in the 2022–23 Nations League, reached the semifinals of the 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup, and contributed to Canada’s fourth-place finish at the CONMEBOL Copa América USA 2024.

Miller is recognized for his defensive awareness, aerial strength, and composure on the ball, making him a key figure in both club and national team setups.
