Jamie Mathieu Knight-Lebel is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a centre-back for EFL League Two club Swindon Town, on loan from EFL Championship club Bristol City, and represents the Canada national team.
Knight-Lebel speaks English and French and comes from a sporting family—his father, Isaak Pageot-Lebel, was a volleyball player. His father was born in La Pocatière, Québec, Canada, while his mother, Sarah Knight, was born in Aberystwyth, Wales. When he was five years old, his family moved from Montréal to Bristol, England, where he began his football journey. He started playing organized football at age five with Stapleton AFC.
Off the field, Knight-Lebel enjoys spending time with friends and family. Growing up, his favourite players included John Stones, Sergio Ramos, and Cristiano Ronaldo, while his favourite clubs were CF Montréal, Bristol City, and Tottenham Hotspur. He also followed athletes from other sports, including Cam Newton, Tyson Fury, and Andre De Grasse, and supported teams such as the Carolina Panthers and the Montréal Canadiens.
